New App Connects Denver Youth to Resources They Need — Without Law Enforcement Stigma

A new app, Power of One, has been launched by Denver youth and University of Colorado Boulder scholars to enable anonymous reporting of safety and wellbeing concerns without involving law enforcement. Designed as an alternative to the Safe2Tell program, it connects users with trained community navigators who assess reports and provide local support services. This initiative aims to address youth violence while reducing stigma and barriers to seeking help in marginalized communities. See The Denver Post article here.
