Police, Researchers use Grant to Develop New Tools to Better Assess the Risk of Targeted Violence

The Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence and the CU Boulder Police are partnering to start implementing a new tool called the Targeted Violence Lethality Assessment Protocol in the upcoming school year (2023-2024).  This protocol will support CU Boulder Police in identifying and evaluating behaviors and communications of concern and provide individuals with help and resources before violence occurs.
